About OrthoCanada

Founded by physiotherapist Judith Stanfield in 1989, OrthoCanada is known for providing professional expertise about the physiotherapy rehabilitation products/ equipment it manufactures and/or distributes to clinics, hospitals, specialty medical retailers and retail pharmacies throughout Canada.

OrthoCanada manages its nationwide business from its head office in the Ottawa region, having established strategic partnerships with service centres across Canada. With this structure, OrthoCanada provides expert support to thousands of professionals (physiotherapy, chiropractic, athletic, massage) in diverse environments, including hospitals, rehabilitation centres, schools, fitness centres, sports teams, associations, corporations, retail pharmacies, and orthopaedic and medical equipment dealers and distributors.

World-class clinics have come to rely on OrthoCanada’s core team of professionals, which includes physiotherapists, all of whom provide timely recommendations and assistance that allow healthcare professionals to increase patient health and wellness. From filling day-to day-needs with standard physiotherapy equipment and supplies to providing sophisticated and precise treatment options for specialized applications, the team at OrthoCanada is committed to supporting the Canadian physiotherapy community.

When setting up new clinics, the OrthoCanada team provides comprehensive assistance with everything from equipment recommendations to installation and training. Over the years, they have played a key role in many state-of-the-art rehab projects, such as the William Osler Health Center in Brampton, the first Cleveland Clinic in Canada on Bay Street in Toronto, and the HUR Smart Card Exercise Facility at the University of Western. Whether managing extensive nationwide expansion projects or getting small hospital or private clinics in remote areas of the country up and running, OrthoCanada always delivers professional advice, outstanding attention to detail, and long-term customer support.

For fully operational clinics and dealers, OrthoCanada provides ongoing support that includes its One-Stop Restock™ clinical supply program and unparalleled product knowledge for both general and specialized applications.

OrthoCanada’s first-hand physiotherapy knowledge is as valuable to product selection as it is to service. All products are priced to be competitively affordable, and are guaranteed by OrthoCanada or by the original manufacturer, unless stated otherwise. New products are continually being developed or sourced, with a focus on improved designs, professional workmanship, and unrivalled attention to detail and quality.

A cornerstone of OrthoCanada’s unique offering to Canadian physiotherapists is the solid partnership it has built over the last twenty years with reputable rehab equipment manufacturers from Australia, Britain, China, Finland, Germany, Holland, Israel, Japan and the United States.
